Submissions


General Guidelines

Presenting authors should take into consideration the following guidelines before submitting their abstracts.

Image Use and Consent

Authors may choose to give consent for their image to be stored and published online, including on the meeting’s official website or Facebook page.
However, authors also have the right to withhold consent and may exercise their rights under Portuguese law, including copyright and image rights - such as the right not to be photographed or recorded without their permission when not in a public setting.

Abstract SUBMISSION

Elements to be included in the abstract submission: Title, Abstract (150-250 words), 3-5 Keywords.
Abstracts should clearly state: Research question(s), Hypotheses (if applicable), Methodology, Key findings (even if only predicted), and Implications for practice and/or future research (even if only predicted).
Abstracts should be written in English (preferred) or Portuguese.

Abstracts should follow APA 7th edition guidelines.

Who can submit?

 2nd-year Master’s and PhD students conducting research in the field of Psychology of Health and Wellbeing at Iscte.

Guidelines for oral presentations

Each presenter is given a very short timeframe
(1 minute!) to orally present the key points of their research poster.
Presenters may use 1-2 slides to support their presentation.
English (preferred) or Portuguese.



Guidelines for Posters

Printed (responsibility of presenters) preferably in A0 size (120 cm x 90 cm), but other formats can be accepted.
Posters must be vertically oriented.

English (preferred) or Portuguese.
